Preparing the CITRA 2009

Following the meeting of the CITRA bureau in Vienna on the 8th of October, Annick Carteret, (ICA Office Manager) and Didier Grange (Secretary of the CITRA, Deputy Secretary General of ICA) went to Malta at the beginning of November. During this trip, they worked with Mr. Charles Farrugia, National Archivist, and the organizing committee

The international conference of the round table of archives will take place in Malta from the 17th to the 21st November 2009
The Annual General Meeting of the ICA will take place on the 20th November. The CITRA will be preceded by a meeting of the ICA Executive Board and a number of meetings of other ICA bodies or partner organizations. The theme of the CITRA is ‘Imagining Archiving in the 21st Century: New strategies for education and training’
The CITRA Bureau as well as the Section for Archival Education and Training (ICA/SAE) and the Programme Commission (ICA/PCOM) are working on the content of the sessions and the topics of the discussion groups
